While representing Côte d'Ivoire at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Bazoumana Touré has taken a major step in his career. The 20-year-old Ivorian international has officially joined Newcastle United, leaving Hoffenheim after an impressive season in the Bundesliga.

The Magpies reportedly paid €50 million to sign the versatile winger, who can play on either flank as well as in a wing-back role. Despite being under contract with the German club until 2029, Touré enjoyed a standout campaign, registering five goals and 14 assists in 32 appearances.

In an official statement, Newcastle confirmed the arrival of their second signing of the summer.

"Newcastle United is delighted to announce the signing of highly promising Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré on a long-term contract," the Premier League club said.

The young forward expressed his excitement about beginning a new chapter in England.

"I am very, very happy to be here. Since I was a child, I have dreamed of playing in the Premier League for a great club like Newcastle. I can't wait to meet my teammates, the supporters, and everyone at the club. I'm also really looking forward to playing my first match at St James' Park," Touré said.

The move marks another milestone in Bazoumana Touré's rapid rise and sets the stage for the young Ivorian to test himself in the Premier League with Newcastle United.
