Morocco and Guinea will organize a bilateral business forum next January in Conakry, aimed at boosting investment opportunities and strengthening ties between their economic sectors.
The announcement was made following a meeting between Omar Hejira, Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Trade, and Mamadou Saliou Diaby, Guinea’s Acting Minister of Trade.
Both parties agreed to intensify B2B meetings in areas of mutual interest and to facilitate bilateral trade, particularly in industrial, agricultural, medical, energy, and electrical products.
Guinea requested Morocco's support in strengthening trade capacities, promoting SMEs, providing technical export assistance, and developing trade statistics. Morocco expressed its willingness to share its expertise in these fields.
This cooperation falls within the framework of the follow-up committee for the Industrial and Commercial Framework Agreement signed during King Mohammed VI's visit to Guinea in March 2014.
