Côte d'Ivoire is accelerating preparations for its 2026–2030 National Cybersecurity Strategy, a framework designed to support the country's digital transformation while strengthening its ability to respond to cyber threats.
As part of this effort, a meeting was recently held in Abidjan to review the implementation of the 2021–2025 National Cybersecurity Strategy and define the main priorities of the next roadmap, according to local media.
The future strategy will be built around four major pillars aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and enhancing digital trust. It notably includes the operational implementation of the regulatory framework to improve the protection of information systems and digital services.
Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation Djibril Ouattara said that strengthening national expertise and skills will be one of the key priorities of the new strategy, which is considered essential to support the continued growth of the digital economy in Côte d'Ivoire.
