On behalf of the President of the Republic, General Mamadi Doumbouya, Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah officially launched the main enumeration phase of the 4th General Population and Housing Census (RGPH-4).
More than 23,000 census agents have been mobilized across the country for this large-scale operation, which is being conducted under the banner of rigor, transparency, and civic engagement.
“The RGPH-4 is not an individual identification exercise. It is a strategic tool to better guide public policies in key sectors such as health, education, housing, and employment,” the Prime Minister stated in front of the census agents.
He also emphasized that the census concerns all people living in Guinea, including foreign nationals, and takes into account housing conditions in order to better tailor public policies to realities on the ground.
“Be available, open your doors, answer truthfully. This is not about private life, but about building the future of our country,” urged the Head of Government.
According to the Minister of Planning, Ismaël Nabé, this operation is a cornerstone of modern governance and represents a true social contract between the State and its citizens.
Field operations will last one month, including in the most remote areas. The Government is calling for collective mobilization to ensure the success of this nationwide initiative.
