At the end of his working visit to Angola, Mozambican President Daniel Chapo announced the signing of five legal instruments concerning cooperation in key sectors such as transportation, social action, tourism, and culture.
During a press conference in Luanda, the Angolan capital, Chapo praised the political and diplomatic relations between Mozambique and Angola, describing them as excellent and of an extraordinary level.

One of the agreements concerns air services between the two countries, aimed at facilitating travel and bringing the two peoples closer together, while another focuses on maritime transport, ports, and related activities, aiming to promote cooperation in the fields of hydrography, maritime signaling, and vocational training.
A memorandum of understanding on social action and gender equality was signed during the visit. It aims to strengthen public policies and exchange experiences for the benefit of families, children, disabled individuals, and social workers.
Another agreement was signed between the tourism institutes of Angola and Mozambique to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore joint opportunities in the tourism sector.
In the cultural field, the two countries signed an executive cooperation program for the 2025-2028 period, aimed at stimulating artistic and cultural exchanges while recognizing culture as a foundation of their shared identity.
