Senegal’s Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mountaga Diao, has inaugurated a new hotel facility in Saly, named Yuma Lodge.
“The inauguration of this establishment fits perfectly within the implementation of the national transformation agenda, Senegal 2050, which aims to promote sustainable, inclusive tourism that respects our environment and cultures,” declared Minister Diao during the opening ceremony.
According to him, Yuma Lodge “enhances the appeal of Senegal as a travel destination by offering visitors an environment that blends elegance, comfort, and authenticity.” “Tourism is a key pillar of our economy—a sector that generates jobs and wealth for our people,” he reminded, as reported by the Senegalese Press Agency.
This peaceful haven features over 50 rooms, including three luxury suites and six conference rooms.
For Mountaga Diao, “The State of Senegal, through the strategic guidelines implemented by the government, aims to make the tourism sector a driver of development, strengthening its attractiveness and international reach.”
