For the sixth consecutive time, Burkinabé weightlifter Iron Biby remains the strongest man in the world, breaking his own world record by lifting 231 kg.

Iron Biby triumphed once again at the World Loglift in Birmingham, England. The Burkinabé athlete surpassed his previous world record of 230 kg by lifting 231 kg.

This marks the sixth time that Iron Biby has dominated this discipline on a global scale.

In October 2023, he set the 230 kg record in Scotland, dethroning Žydrūnas Savickas, who had held the record since 2015.

Iron Biby first set a loglift world record in 2021 with a 229 kg lift.

Iron Biby is a professional strongman. Before transitioning to strongman competitions, he excelled as a shot put athlete. He quickly made a name for himself in the strongman world due to his exceptional strength, particularly in brute strength events like overhead lifting.

He is especially renowned for his impressive performances in the log lift, where he has broken several world records, becoming a key figure in international strongman competitions.
