Kenya has just launched the National Strategic Plan for the Education Sector. It is designed to guide the country's policy to provide accessible, equitable, and quality education and training for the next five years.

According to the Kenyan Minister of Education, Ezekiel Machogu, this plan serves as a roadmap for the educational system, aiming to nurture the potential of every learner, regardless of their background and abilities.

"This plan will also be crucial in helping the country fulfill its international obligations, such as the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to ensure inclusive and equitable education, promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all," stated Machogu.

Kenya will need to invest in its learning infrastructure, particularly in the integration of technologies, to facilitate better teaching even for students living in remote areas.

This program aims to ensure the effective implementation of learning support services, including guidance, counseling, and career services, as well as mentoring programs to help learners stay focused on pursuing their talents and life goals.
