As a guest of the Atlantic Council for an #ACFrontPage conversation, Chadian Prime Minister Success Masra presented his vision of the change he has committed to in his country and continues to believe in.

Interviewed by Rama Yade as part of the Atlantic Council's #ACFrontPage meeting, Success Masra asserted on February 28, 2024, that a change in mindset is underway in Chad. The Chadian Prime Minister also recalled the foundations he says are now established in his country to establish good governance, with the fundamental rule being accountability.

Masra also discussed Chad's relationship with the AU, stating that his country is supportive of regional integration. Additionally, he praised Morocco's approach to South-South cooperation during a visit to Washington.

The Chadian Prime Minister expressed admiration for the Moroccan Initiative led by King Mohammed VI aimed at facilitating access for Sahel states to the Atlantic Ocean, describing it as "very relevant". Success Masra also highlighted Morocco's pioneering role in promoting South-South cooperation.

"There were important lessons that sub-Saharan countries could learn from the Moroccan experience," he affirmed.
