The 3rd edition of the National Festival of Ivorian Cuisine will take place on June 12 and 13 in Bouaké.

Held under the theme “Sublime Côte d’Ivoire: Land of Flavors”, this year’s edition will showcase the diversity and richness of Côte d’Ivoire’s culinary heritage.

“Gastronomic tourism is a key driver for boosting the local economy and strengthening Ivorian cultural identity. This festival offers a unique opportunity to highlight our local products and the talent of our chefs,” emphasized Daniel Leal Andi, Chief of Staff representing Minister Siandou Fofana.

The grand finale of the National Festival of Ivorian Cuisine will take place at Bouaké’s municipal stadium, featuring a series of cultural and gastronomic events.

Organizers hope to attract a wide audience—both national and international—to celebrate and promote Ivorian cuisine on the global stage.

Dr. Klo Fagama, Director General of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, explained that the event will include regional and national culinary competitions, culminating in the selection of six emblematic dishes—three from traditional cuisine and three from professional gastronomy.

These dishes will be standardized and documented on technical sheets designed for culinary and hospitality schools, helping to structure and elevate Ivorian gastronomy.

“Each dish tells a story—of our regions, our communities, and our way of life. This festival is an opportunity to celebrate that treasure, to share it with the world, and to make it a cornerstone of our tourism appeal,” he stated.
