Repeat offender Sofia Benlemmane persists and reaffirms. After xenophobic remarks that led to her swift expulsion from Abidjan, she is now openly engaging in anti-Semitism.
Following Algeria's elimination from the CAN by Mauritania, Sofia Benlemmane made a new appearance on her YouTube channel. This time, in addition to the primary anti-Africanism that tarnishes her infamous reputation, she spews a torrent of insults, some of which are clearly anti-Semitic.
In any properly constituted country worldwide, this new transgression, added to the previous ones, would have led to legal action against this self-proclaimed YouTuber, but not in Algeria.
All eyes will be on France when Sofia Benlemmane returns to her usual residence in Lyon. Will the French justice system also turn a deaf ear?
