On Monday, October 7th, in Rabat, Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, held talks with a delegation of U.S. senators.

Following the discussions, Senator Jerry Moran from Kansas highlighted Morocco’s significant role in promoting peace both regionally and globally.

"It is very important for the United States to have the closest and best relations with Morocco,” stated the American official, describing the Kingdom as a "provider" of stability and peace in the world.

Moran also expressed his country’s "gratitude" for "how Morocco operates globally" in seeking consensus and bringing people together.

He further called for strengthening cooperative ties with Morocco to "export the Moroccan model of stability to the rest of the world, particularly in Africa.”
