Back at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Miguel Ángel Jiménez has made his ambitions clear: to retain his title during the 50th edition of the Hassan II Trophy. The Spanish golfer and defending champion said he was "very happy” to return to Rabat to defend his crown in a tournament he considers one of the major events on the tour.

Impressed by the atmosphere and especially by the Red Course of Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Jiménez did not hide his admiration for the Moroccan layout, which he regards as one of the best courses of the year.

"It’s a superb course where you really enjoy playing,” he said.

On the occasion of this historic edition marking the tournament’s 50th anniversary, the Spaniard’s experience and precision will be valuable assets as he aims to once again add his name to the honors list of Rabat’s prestigious golfing event.
