During the 16th edition of the MEDays International Forum in Tangier, Philip Joseph Pierre discussed the positive impact of cooperation between Morocco and Caribbean nations, especially in the area of food security. “Morocco contributes to food security in the Caribbean by providing fertilizers to our countries, and we are grateful for it,” he said. This contribution highlights the significance of South-South exchanges in addressing global challenges, particularly the effects of climate change impacting both Africa and the Caribbean.

The Prime Minister stressed the necessity of strengthening South-South cooperation, particularly between Africa and the Caribbean. “We can share technology, knowledge, and engage in trade among ourselves, but we need robust transport links,” he said, underlining the importance of connectivity to facilitate exchanges.
