Under the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan received, on Thursday evening in Casablanca, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, who is on a short visit to the Kingdom.
The Chinese Head of State was welcomed by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan upon his arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
President Xi Jinping arrived in Morocco accompanied by a delegation including Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and General Director of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP); Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CCP Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs; and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hua Chunying.
This visit highlights the depth of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity between the Moroccan and Chinese peoples, reinforced by the shared will of the Heads of State of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Xi Jinping, to advance the consolidation of the Sino-Moroccan strategic partnership, established during the Sovereign’s visit to China in May 2016.
