The 17th edition of Afrik Fashion Week will be held from Monday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Abidjan.
"Football, Fashion, and Elegance” is this year’s theme, reflecting Afrik Fashion Week's goal of presenting a resolutely modern and inclusive vision of African fashion by merging the worlds of sport and fashion, said the event’s founder, Isabelle Anoh.
"Football, an undeniable passion in Africa, is celebrated here to highlight unity and solidarity—key values of this sport that also resonate with the team spirit and dedication of fashion designers," she stated.
Afrik Fashion Week is a prestigious showcase for African fashion, drawing designers, models, investors, and fashion enthusiasts from across Africa and around the world.
The event aims to promote the talents of African designers, shining a spotlight on traditional African fabrics.
