The electoral census in Côte d'Ivoire is set to start on October 19.

"The period for the electoral census is from October 19 to November 10, 2024," announced Ibrahim Coulibaly-Kuibiert, president of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI).

"To be eligible to vote in the October 2025 presidential election, one must be Ivorian, at least 18 years old, enjoy civil and political rights, and be registered on the electoral list,” the CEI president further clarified.

He urged Ivorians to register en masse to ensure a high turnout for the presidential election, which he hopes will be credible and violence-free.

The presidential election in Côte d'Ivoire is scheduled for October 2025.
