The Ivorian Minister of Employment and Social Protection, Adama Kamara, announced the implementation this year of unemployment insurance, housing insurance, and supplementary retirement plans for private sector workers.
The minister outlined perspectives related to strengthening the social security system.
Adama Kamara, cited by the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP), added that he plans to initiate a social security financing bill aimed at addressing the issue of fraud prevention and access to social benefits.
The objective is to reinforce the defense of the social security system, ensure the proper management of public finances, and preserve the image of social security.
