The Transitional President of Guinea, General Mamadi Doumbouya, has appointed new members to the government upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah.

The key ministerial positions of Defense, Security, and Foreign Affairs remain with their incumbents. Aboubacar Sidiki Camara stays as the National Defense Minister, Bachir Diallo remains at Security and Civil Protection, and Morissanda Kouyaté continues as the Foreign Affairs Minister.

The new 29-member cabinet, which includes six women, is marked by the entrance of 15 new ministers. Yaya Kairaba Kaba, the general inspector of judicial and penitentiary services, has become the Minister of Justice, replacing Charles Wright.

The Ministry of Mines and Geology also saw a change in leadership. Moussa Magassouba has given up his seat to one of his advisors, Bouna Sylla.

Moreover, two journalists have entered the government: Bah Fanah Soumah, the director-general of the national radio and television, becomes the Minister of Information and Communication, and Moussa Moise Sylla, in charge of the presidential palace's communication, becomes the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts.
