The Cyber Africa Forum (CAF) will hold its 6th edition on November 16–17, 2026, in Cotonou, Benin. Under the theme "Building Tomorrow's Digital Trust," the event will bring together more than 1,500 policymakers, investors, and international experts.

Organized by Kaydan Group, with the support of Benin's Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Innovation, the forum aims to advance discussions on the key challenges shaping Africa's digital transformation.

Against a backdrop of rapid artificial intelligence development and growing cyber threats, CAF 2026 seeks to promote digital governance built on trust, security, and innovation. While Africa is home to nearly 500 million internet usersand its digital economy could reach $712 billion by 2050, cybercrime caused almost $3 billion in losses across the continent between 2019 and 2025, according to INTERPOL.

This year's edition will introduce three major new initiatives. The College of Experts will bring together leading figures from academia, government, and the private sector to contribute to strategic discussions. The Tech 4 Creatives initiative will showcase African talents in fashion, music, and sports who are leveraging artificial intelligence in their work. Meanwhile, the HackerLab, organized in partnership with Benin's Information Systems and Digital Agency (ASIN), will host a two-day hackathon bringing together Africa's top young cybersecurity specialists.

Discussions will focus on algorithmic sovereignty, cyber diplomacy, data protection, combating disinformation, digital interoperability in support of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), connected healthcare, and financing Africa's technology ecosystem.

Since its launch, the Cyber Africa Forum has brought together more than 6,000 participants from 50 countries. Its sixth edition aims to further strengthen its position as Africa's leading platform for digital resilience and innovation.
