The International Pot Festival (FESMA) will be held from April 15th to 21st, 2024 in Lomé.

"The challenges of agricultural transformation and the valorization of local products" is the central theme of the 3rd edition of the Pot Festival in Togo. It's a highly anticipated event for the gastronomic ecosystem that promotes Togolese and African cuisine.

The Pot Festival aims to showcase and promote dishes from various localities in the 5 economic regions of Togo.

The program includes conferences, master classes, a fair, as well as a special activity called "My Day on the Farm," which will be a rural getaway to Amoussoukopé (a village located 75 km northwest of Lomé) to have a complete experience of "Farm to Plate," which is the event's slogan.

Additionally, a day dedicated to promoting local bread (made from local flour) is planned, according to local press reports.

The event will bring together nearly 200 stakeholders, including culinary professionals from Togo and beyond, policymakers, academics, chefs, and farmers, who will discuss the importance of agricultural transformation in promoting local dishes and the country's development.
