His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, has given His Highest Instructions for the dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people, particularly the populations of the Gaza Strip, according to a statement released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad.
The aid ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with a total volume of nearly 180 tons, consists of essential foodstuffs, milk and products specifically intended for children, as well as medicines and surgical equipment for the most vulnerable populations. It also includes blankets, suitable tents and other equipment.
This aid will follow a specially arranged route, ensuring rapid and direct delivery to the Palestinian beneficiaries.
This humanitarian action is part of the ongoing tangible solidarity consistently shown by the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the unwavering commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, to the cause of Palestine and its brotherly people, the statement concludes.
