Morocco and Cape Verde signed a memorandum of understanding in Rabat to strengthen their cooperation in the field of justice, as part of the South-South cooperation dynamic between the two countries.


Signed by the Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and his Cape Verdean counterpart, Joana Gomes Rosa Amado, the agreement establishes a structured framework for the exchange of expertise, training of professionals, sharing of best practices, as well as the organization of visits and scientific meetings focused on judicial modernization.

On this occasion, both officials emphasized the importance of this commitment in giving new impetus to bilateral relations, building on the achievements of both countries in the reform of the judicial system.

The memorandum is part of a broader set of bilateral initiatives covering areas such as human rights, African cooperation, and institutional development.

Both parties expressed their shared desire to elevate their partnership to a more structured level, aligned with the priorities of regional integration and the development of the continent.
