The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a signing ceremony for the agreement with Guinea-Bissau on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports

The visa exemption agreement was signed by Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxime Ryjenkov and his Bissau-Guinean counterpart Fatoumata Jau.

The agreement will come into effect once the necessary internal procedures are completed.

On the same day, the two ministers met and discussed the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Guinea-Bissau cooperation.

They agreed to establish a list of projects and agreements to be implemented soon and to hold inter-ministerial political consultations.

This meeting is part of a larger visit by President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, marked by discussions on agriculture, education, technology, defense, and security with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
