Logos Hope, the world's largest floating book fair, will be held for the first time in Angola from July 27 to August 1.

Logos Hope stands out for its vast selection of books available for sale, offering over 5,000 titles covering a wide range of subjects such as science, sports, hobbies, children's books, academic studies, and theology. The fair also features books on cooking, arts, medicine, and languages.

Its goal goes beyond simply selling books at affordable prices; it also aims to bring knowledge, aid, and hope to the most disadvantaged people through community aid projects and educational programs.

The crew and staff of Logos Hope are volunteers from more than 60 different countries, adding a culturally rich dimension to the on-board experience. They live in a community on the ship, sharing their lives while working together.

Logos Hope visits ports around the world, generally staying for a few weeks in each port before moving on to a new destination. During these stops, the ship is open to the public, allowing visitors to explore the bookstore and participate in cultural events and educational activities organized on board.

These visits often provide a rare and valuable opportunity, especially in remote or less developed regions, to access a variety of books and educational resources.
