The Malian government aims to make locally produced goods a key driver of economic growth.

At a meeting held on Friday, October 23, 2026, the Council of Ministers acknowledged a presentation on the national strategy to promote local products.

The initiative focuses on four priorities: strengthening business capacities, improving product quality, encouraging local consumption, and reinforcing the regulatory and institutional framework.

Through this strategy, the authorities aim to promote domestic production, boost industrial processing and enhance the competitiveness of Malian businesses.
