Egypt will host the final stage of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League from November 1 to 15, 2026. Eight clubs will compete for the continental title, including two Moroccan representatives, the African governing body announced on its official website.
Among the teams already qualified are Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Kawempe Muslim (Uganda), Lekié FF (Cameroon), and USFAS (Mali).
Morocco will be represented by AS FAR Rabat, the defending champions, and Fath Union Sport (FUS) Rabat, which qualified through the North African Football Union (UNAF) zonal qualifiers.
Two spots remain to be filled. The first will go to the representative of the WAFU B zone, while the second will be reserved for the Egyptian club representing the host nation.
This edition will bring together teams from several African football zones, including COSAFA, CECAFA, UNIFFAC, and WAFU A.
Egypt will thus host the competition for the second consecutive year and the third time since its launch in 2021. The eight participating teams will attempt to dethrone AS FAR, crowned champions in the previous edition, in a major tournament for African women’s football.
