On May 21, 2026, Nasser Bourita received Vince Henderson, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Dominica, in Rabat. The meeting confirmed the strength of the ties between Morocco and the Caribbean nation.

In the joint statement issued following the talks, the Commonwealth of Dominica expressed its sincere appreciation for the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in support of effective, solidarity-based and pragmatic South-South cooperation.

The two ministers welcomed the level reached by bilateral relations, as well as the initiatives undertaken under the 2025–2027 Cooperation Roadmap. This cooperation focused on concrete projects and support for socioeconomic development.

Dominica stated that the Royal Vision helped preserve stability and security in the Caribbean region through initiatives that directly benefited local populations.

At the political level, Vince Henderson reaffirmed his country’s unwavering support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region. He also renewed Dominica’s support for the Moroccan Autonomy Plan as the only solution to the regional dispute.
