The Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially unveiled on Thursday the schedule for the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. Both competitions will begin in September 2026 with the preliminary rounds, while the finals are scheduled to take place between May 9 and May 31, 2027.

According to the calendar released by CAF, the first preliminary round will be played from September 4–6, 2026 (first leg), with the return matches taking place from September 11–13. The second preliminary round is scheduled for October 16–18 (first leg) and October 23–25 (second leg).

The group stage will run from late November 2026 to late January 2027. Matchday 1 is set for November 27–29, followed by Matchdays 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on December 4–6, December 18–20, January 8–10, January 15–17, and January 22–24, respectively.

The quarter-finals will take place from February 26–28, 2027 (first leg) and March 5–7 (second leg). The semi-finalsare scheduled for April 9–11 (first leg) and April 16–18 (second leg).

Africa's club champions will be crowned between May 9 and May 31, 2027, the period reserved by CAF for the finals of both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

CAF also confirmed that the prize money will remain unchanged. The winners of the CAF Champions League will receive US$6 million, while the CAF Confederation Cup champions will be awarded US$4 million.
