Morocco and Rwanda Reaffirm Their Commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Morocco and Rwanda have reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen their bilateral relations during the official visit to Rabat of Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe.

Received by his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, the Rwandan official highlighted the strong ties binding the two countries.

The two ministers emphasized the privileged relationship between His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Rwandan President Paul Kagame, praising a cooperation built on friendship, mutual trust, and a shared vision for Africa’s development.

Discussions focused on several strategic sectors, notably security, training, and sustainable development. Rabat and Kigali expressed their willingness to intensify this momentum of cooperation and expand the partnership into new priority areas.

Bearing a written message from President Paul Kagame addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Olivier Nduhungirehe also stated that he had discussed various regional and international issues with Nasser Bourita. Both sides stressed their common ambition to further strengthen Moroccan-Rwandan relations and promote the interests of the African continent.
