A well-known figure among Congolese football supporters, Lumumba Vea has officially announced his departure from the supporters’ group "Wazelendo,” previously led by Mundele Ndundu.

This separation brings an end to a collaboration that had left its mark on the stands during Democratic Republic of Congo national football team matches, especially at major Leopards fixtures.

Determined to continue his commitment to Congolese supporters, Lumumba Vea has unveiled the creation of his own supporters’ group called "Échos du Bloc Léopards” (Echoes of the Leopards Block). Through this new initiative, he aims to bring a renewed identity to Congolese stadium atmospheres with new chants, rhythms, and performances designed to energize support for the national team.

The group’s official launch is scheduled for May 13 in Kinshasa. The event will introduce the movement’s visual identity, its members, and the collective’s first artistic directions to the public.

Highly anticipated by Congolese football fans, this new project could inject fresh energy into stadium atmospheres ahead of the Leopards’ upcoming sporting challenges.
