Young Moroccan international Rayane Bounida is drawing increasing attention on the European transfer market, with strong interest coming from Germany.

Borussia Mönchengladbach are currently leading the race, having reportedly already initiated talks with a view to securing his transfer during the upcoming summer window.

The German club is particularly impressed by the 20-year-old’s attacking profile. Bounida is known for his ability to operate between the lines, inject creativity into the game, and break down compact defenses—qualities that align well with Mönchengladbach’s current needs in attack.

At Ajax Amsterdam, however, Bounida is still struggling to establish himself as an undisputed starter. His playing time this season has been inconsistent, alternating between starts and substitute appearances, which has slowed his development and fueled speculation about his future.

Despite this, his statistics remain promising: 34 appearances in all competitions, with 4 goals and 11 assists in 1,751 minutes. A level of offensive contribution that has not gone unnoticed by European scouts.

Confident in his potential, Mönchengladbach is reportedly considering offering him a four-year contract, as part of a project focused on developing young talents.

Finally, his involvement with the Moroccan national team adds a strategic dimension to his career. In a highly competitive attacking lineup, consistent performances at club level will be crucial for him to secure a long-term place with the Atlas Lions.
