Widely represented at the 36th edition of the Zurich Motor Show, which took place from November 1 to 5, 2023, the Peugeot brand presented the latest models from its electrified range, and also, in a world premiere, its brand-new Peugeot E-3008.
No less than 7 electric vehicles were exhibited at the Peugeot stand (New E-208, New E-2008, New E-308, E-Rifter, E-Partner, E-Expert), in addition to the Peugeot Inception concept car and the new E-3008 presented in a world premiere. The lion brand has thoroughly transformed its electric vehicle range. With no less than 12 electric models (including 3 light commercial vehicles) in its catalog, Peugeot will offer, starting in 2024, the widest electric range of all European manufacturers.
In addition to supporting its customers in their transition to 100% electric vehicles, Peugeot also presented several of its hybrid models in Zurich: 308 SW Plug-In Hybrid 180, 408 Plug-In Hybrid 225, 508 SW Peugeot Sport Engineered 360, and 5008 Hybrid 136.
The novelties presented at the Zurich Motor Show are:
New E-3008: The "Next-Level" electric fastback SUV.
The new E-3008 is the first model to use the brand-new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis, which elevates the Peugeot range to a higher level. This innovative platform is designed to offer top-notch performance to the brand's customers. Among the strengths of this model are its range (up to 700 km), recharge time (100 km in 10 minutes), driving pleasure, performance, efficiency, and connected services (Trip Planner, Smart charging, Vehicle to load, and Over The Air updates).
The new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit "takes driving pleasure to a higher level." It is based on the presence of a 21-inch floating HD panoramic screen consisting of a head-up display and a central touchscreen. The vehicle will be exclusively produced at the Sochaux factory in France and will be available for sale beginning in 2024.
New E-208: Resolutely sporty
Sporting a sporty design, the Peugeot i-Cockpit is technologically advanced. With a new range of electric powertrains, the vehicle is set to continue the success of its predecessor, which was the best-selling 100% electric model in its segment in Europe in 2022. Versatile and efficient, its new 115 kW/156 hp engine and its range of 410 km (WLTP combined cycle) were presented at the stand.
New E-2008: A lively and agile SUV
As a best-seller in the B-segment SUV market for over 3 years, the Peugeot 2008 takes design, technology, and electrification to a whole new level. Featuring an even more assertive SUV design, it is equipped with a new electric motor of 115 kW/156 hp, offering up to 406 km of range (WLTP combined cycle).
New E-308: 100% electric and 100% irresistible.
A leader in its segment, the vehicle is equipped with a 54 kWh battery. Its range exceeds 413 km (WLTP combined cycle). It is also available in SW silhouette, a rare offer in the market.
