The Beninese economy took center stage at the "Choiseul Africa Business" forum, where Benin was the guest of honor at the 4th edition of the event held on November 16 and 17 in Casablanca.
Mariam Chabi Talata, the Vice President, highlights the country's commitment over several years to the development and transformation of its economy. She asserts that the observed changes result from a well-studied and rigorously implemented structural transformation.
Mariam Chabi Talata encourages African countries to strengthen their collaboration for the emergence of a new Africa that is economically strong, sovereign, and truly independent.
"Since 2016, our greatest ambition has been to reveal ourselves to the world. Despite our modest geographical size, we aspire to become an emerging economic power, a gateway for many neighboring countries and the hinterland," emphasizes Mariam Chabi Talata.
