“The Kingdom of Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of King Mohammed VI, remains a country firmly rooted in its continent,” said former Senegalese Prime Minister Amadou Ba, praising this Royal Vision which transcends contexts and circumstances.

According to Amadou Ba, Morocco’s African anchoring is neither circumstantial nor contingent, but rather the result of a strategic choice that is deeply human and civilizational, consistently and faithfully upheld by the Sovereign.

In a statement to MAP, he noted that this Vision stands out for its balance and rationality, and is distinguished by its analytical depth, sound judgment, and ability to shed light on the meaning of events.

The former Senegalese head of government further stressed that the ties linking Morocco to African countries are rooted in a shared history, a converging vision, and a common destiny, founded on solidarity, fraternity, and mutual respect.

Morocco’s relations with the African continent, and Senegal in particular, go far beyond the circumstantial and emotional framework of sports, he continued, highlighting the considerable efforts made by the Kingdom in the service of Africa’s development.

Morocco and Senegal “maintain relations of a very special nature, marked by the density of exchanges and the depth of ties forged by history and strengthened through action,” Ba said, warning against certain malicious attempts at manipulation or denigration aimed at undermining these very strong bilateral relations.
