Brahim Díaz, named Man of the Match, said that every game comes with its own challenges.

"The Comoros sat very deep. We need to keep improving and scoring goals. This victory will help us going into our next match,” he said.

"It was important to win our first game,” he added.

"It’s fantastic to play here in Rabat in front of our fans,” Díaz continued.

Thanks to this win, Morocco (3 points) temporarily move to the top of Group A.

The second match of the group will see Mali face Zambia on Monday at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca.
