The spokesperson for the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), Emile Ebrottié, announced on Sunday evening, October 26, 2025, the partial results of the presidential election in several constituencies, including the Guinean diaspora and several departments in the regions of Cavally, Agnéby-Tiassa, La Mé, Gboklè, Bas-Sassandra, Moronou, and Lôh-Djiboua.
Across all the areas concerned, candidate Alassane Ouattara is largely in the lead, with results ranging between 69.98% and 90.63%.
More than 8 million voters were expected to cast their ballots on Saturday in Côte d’Ivoire’s presidential election.
One of the candidates, Jean-Louis Billon, conceded defeat and congratulated Ouattara. “The early trends place President Ouattara in the lead. I extend my sincere congratulations to him. The elections took place in a calm atmosphere, and I want to commend this democratic maturity,” he declared.
The CEI continues to compile and progressively release the results until the final national announcement, which will be made at its headquarters in Abidjan.
