The Beninese government recently approved a five-year strategic plan (2025–2029) of the National Employment Agency, aimed at fostering an innovative and inclusive framework for optimal youth support.
The employment promotion ecosystem in Benin will henceforth become a cleaner, more innovative, and inclusive framework for optimal youth support by 2029, according to the Council of Ministers’ report, as relayed by local media.
This strategy, which is broken down into policy directions linked to specific objectives and supported by a structured implementation program, is accompanied by a budgeted action plan and a performance measurement framework, reports FAAPA.
The plan is part of a broader dynamic of structural reform, integrating both improved governance, the development of an efficient labor market information and monitoring system, and the strengthening of access to decent and sustainable employment.
