The upcoming edition of Lagos Fashion Week will take place from April 11 to 13, 2025, promising to be even more eclectic than ever.
Lagos Fashion Week is Nigeria’s premier fashion week. Since 2002, it has showcased the creativity and ingenuity of Nigerian fashion designers. It serves as a platform for Nigerian designers to rediscover themselves and harness their creative talents.
NFW has encouraged designers to rethink their approach and seek inspiration by incorporating locally made fabrics and accessories into their production lines.
Beyond the runway shows, the event serves as a hub for interaction between the government, financial institutions, businesses, fashion entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders.
The agenda includes fashion shows, pop-ups and exhibitions, conferences, and panel discussions focusing on the future of African fashion, sustainability, and the impact of technology on the industry.
The last edition, held from October 23 to 27, 2024, brought together over 60 designers, including renowned brands such as Boyedoe, Ajabeng, Lilabare, and Loza Maléombho, attracting nearly 4,000 attendees.
Lagos Fashion Week plays a central role in elevating African fashion by providing a platform for designers to connect with international buyers and industry leaders while fostering the growth of the fashion industry across the continent.
