The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, has arrived in Switzerland to participate in the 55th edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
"This annual gathering brings together political leaders, business executives, academics, influencers, and non-governmental organizations to discuss major global and regional challenges," the Congolese Presidency recalled.
"It focuses on addressing geopolitical shocks, stimulating economic growth to improve people's living standards, and ensuring a fair and inclusive energy transition," the same source specified.
Under the theme "Cooperating in the Age of Intelligence," this year's World Economic Forum in Davos runs from January 20 to January 24, 2025.
"President Félix Tshisekedi will take advantage of this event to announce a large-scale structural project to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity in the DRC," the Congolese Presidency stated.
