Married for just over a year, Senegalese international Sadio Mané recently opened up about his personal life in an interview with Senepeople Plus.
The Al-Nassr player, and former Liverpool star, shared insights about his relationship with his wife, Aisha Tamba. The couple tied the knot in January 2024 in Dakar, marking the beginning of their marital journey.
During the interview, Mané spoke about his family aspirations, expressing his wish to have three or four children.
"But it’s God who decides, and I will be grateful no matter what," he said.
When asked if he would consider having as many as eight children, he responded with humor: "Maybe… you never know. Whatever the number, I will accept it. But I’m leaning more towards three or four, and we’ll see about the rest."
To recall, the marriage between Sadio Mané and Aisha Tamba, who was 19 years old at the time, came about while she was still a student. Their story dates back two years prior, when Aisha, then 16, and her mother visited the footballer's family.
"We discussed everything according to tradition, reached an agreement, and waited for the right time. They weren’t dating because Aisha was still young," Aisha’s father had shared.
