The Choiseul 100 Africa is an annual ranking that, for the past 10 years, has highlighted 200 young African leaders aged 40 and under, recognized for their influence and promising potential. Here is the 2024 edition.
Since its inception a decade ago, the Choiseul 100 Africa has become an essential reference for observing major economic trends on the continent. The 2024 edition of this ranking celebrates not only young talents but also a decade of Choiseul Africa’s commitment to the economic development of Africa. It highlights individuals who excel in various sectors, including digital technology, healthcare, logistics, finance, energy, and agribusiness. These bold and visionary actors embody the values of leadership and innovation, thereby contributing to the prosperity of African economies. This top 30 list from the Choiseul 100 Africa gives a glimpse of the diverse talents being honored.
“Our ranking celebrates personalities from various sectors, ready to join the international community of young Choiseulians,” explains the President of Choiseul Africa. Pascal Lorot adds: “Thanks to their journeys and visions, they have the potential to transform African economies. This diverse commitment reflects the economic richness of the continent and its ability to innovate in the face of contemporary challenges.”
Beyond recognition, the Choiseul 100 Africa also serves as a strategic tool to promote and connect these high-potential talents. By bringing together leaders from forward-looking sectors, this ranking fosters a dynamic of action and calls for collective engagement to build a stronger, more inclusive, and resilient Africa. It pays tribute to those who are actively working towards a positive future.
Some of the selected individuals will participate in the 5th edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum, which will take place on October 31 and November 1, 2024, in Marrakech, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The event will bring together 800 high-level decision-makers from Africa, Europe, and the Gulf for two days of strategic meetings on economic development and investment opportunities in Africa, as announced by its organizers.
Since 2014, Choiseul Africa has been promoting the excellence, leadership, and innovation of these young talents. This tenth edition marks an important milestone for the initiative, which has become independent and recognized, focusing on the development and international recognition of changemakers in Africa.
